BLK GETAWAY hosted the second annual BLK GIRL PICNIC in Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn, NY. From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with warmth and positivity, as they joined a vibrant community of like-minded women eager to unwind, connect, and celebrate. Guests laughed until their sides hurt, swapped stories, and made memories with newfound friends who understood them.
The BLK GIRL PICNIC is where melanin thrives, sisterhood flourishes, luxury has no limits, and joy knows no bounds! This picnic was more than a gathering; it was an opulent occasion filled with love and empowerment.

THE ITINERARY

The day began with a warm welcome from the BLK GETAWAY team, setting a positive and inclusive tone for the festivities. Upon arrival VIP and GA guests were welcomed with a welcome glass of Rose, courtesy of Summer Water, and a gift bag that included picnic essentials

The event offered a variety of activities designed to engage and uplift attendees:
Self-Care Session: On-site hand and shoulder massages, courtesy of Untethered Wellness, to help guests relax
BLK GIRL BINGO: Guided BINGO game to encourage guest interaction. 3 lucky winners received grand prizes!
Black-owned Vendors: Guests had the opportunity to support local black-owned vendors on-site
Fun Games: Interactive activities such as Bag Toss and Jiant Jenga, with activity prompts, encouraged guests to interact with someone new

Guests enjoyed curated lunch boxes filled with sandwiches and snacks to keep them nourished throughout the day.
As guests enjoyed delicious bits, they toasted to a great day in the sun with Rose provided by Summer Water and non-alcoholic refreshments, courtesy of De Soi
